Hokkaido offers a fluent 82-year-old, the island's native population and a Norwegian Viking ship! And Øystein tests out Japan's cheapest tent.

Bar crawl at Jesus' grave
In Hachinohe, Øystein sleeps in the emperor's bed, Rune meets Jesus, before Norwegian Snorre and his boss invite him for a proper round of the town.

The boys search for the first shogun and Øystein is challenged by his passion for plastic. In Fukushima, they see the aftermath of the 2011 tsunami.

It's time for a Japanese tea ceremony! Øystein takes over the hotel reservation, celebrates his birthday and gets food on the table – thanks to fishing birds.

Everything turned upside down
The trip goes to Kyoto where Rune forgets to turn on the camera, and 83-year-old Yoneda-san turns everything upside down. Afterwards, the trip goes to earthquake-stricken Kobe.
